I am currently working as an R&D Engineer at MotionTech AS, where we are delivering projects involving software development, machine vision and robotics.

I have been researching condition monitoring, machine learning, autonomous systems and signal processing applications in the Mechatronics field in combination with teaching to graduate Mechatronics students.

Courses:

• Industrial IT, MAS411: Programming Siemens PLC as a controller in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation.
• Instrumentation, MAS506: Lectures on Kalman Filter and Particle Filter
• Product Development, MAS507: Students were given a prebuilt mobile robot with access points for mounting more hardware. The students were tasked to design and build a gripper mechanism for picking artificial strawberries. The heart of the robot is an Nvidia Jetson running Ubuntu on ARM, and the students were tasked to program this robot in Python to autonomously find and pick all the strawberries in a given field. Worked as an R&D Engineer with various tasks within marine technologies, load handling, crane kinematics and condition monitoring.

My PhD project involved rolling element bearing failure detection and prognosis during low and variable speed conditions. The thesis is built from several conference and journal papers, and you can read more about the thesis here.

Right after High-school, I started this education in Mechatronics. Because of the wide field, I have learned a lot during these five years, both practically and theoretically. I worked a lot with Sondre S. Tørdal, and we did both the Bachelor and Master thesis together. Both projects involve modelling, simulation and control oh hydraulic parts and systems.
