I have been researching condition monitoring, machine learning, autonomous systems and signal processing applications in the Mechatronics field in combination with teaching to graduate Mechatronics students.

  • Industrial IT, MAS411: Programming Siemens PLC as a controller in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation.
  • Instrumentation, MAS506: Lectures on Kalman Filter and Particle Filter
  • Product Development, MAS507: Students were given a prebuilt mobile robot with access points for mounting more hardware. The students were tasked to design and build a gripper mechanism for picking artificial strawberries. The heart of the robot is an Nvidia Jetson running Ubuntu on ARM, and the students were tasked to program this robot in Python to autonomously find and pick all the strawberries in a given field. B.Sc and M.Sc. Mechatronics

Right after High-school, I started this education in Mechatronics. Because of the wide field, I have learned a lot during these five years, both practically and theoretically. I worked a lot with Sondre S. Tørdal, and we did both the Bachelor and Master thesis together. Both projects involve modelling, simulation and control oh hydraulic parts and systems.
